Hitohira No Hanabira

The name sounds foreign, I know, but that’s because it is. This is a Japanese song from a band called Stereopony. I’m not sure why they picked that name, but they did. Anyway, it’s not in English if you haven’t already guessed, but I want to get people to read or listen to things that are outside of their comfort zone, educate them in a way I guess. It’s a rather quiet and calm song, and I hope you guys will at least give it a chance and listen to it.

Okay, so I’m kind of a nut and I listen to different kinds of music in different languages. This song is in Turkish, but it’s really fun, it’s really upbeat, and I love it. I have watched the music video, it’s very clean, and they also give you English subtitles so you know what she’s saying. I seriously hope you guys listen to this one and have fun with it.

Battle Scars

Battle Scars is a song about depression (at least in my opinion), but at the same time, it’s not. It’s more of talking about people who are finding it harder and harder to hang on, but the song is telling you that you can continue on even when you don’t think you can. I like this song, and I hope that it might help someone who needs it.

Deliver Us

Deliver Us is a song that is found in the movie Prince of Egypt which is an animated movie adaptation of the story of Mosses I believe. I know it at least follows him as he tries to liberate his people from the Pharaoh of Egypt. What I find funny is that I’ve watched this movie since I was a kid I can still never remember which part of the Bible it talks about. Anyway, this is a very good song, it’s the first first one that you hear in the movie, and if you haven’t seen the movie already, I would very much recommend it, it’s very good.
